Why Leipzig?

Our main focus of operation for 2009-10 will be the city of Leipzig and the surrounding area. The key reason for this is the strong economic conditions which prevail in the city. Unemployment continues to fall (every month for almost 3 years – Leipzig Stadt) with the resultant growth in population and rental demand.

Based in and around the city are major employers such as DHL, Amazon, Dell, Porsche and BMW as well as a growing media sector.

Additionally, the city boasts excellent transport links across Europe both by rail and road, which is one of the reasons why the Leipzig Exhibition Centre attracts over 1.3 million visitors a year to a variety of trade fairs.

When this demand is coupled with the currently low purchase prices for good quality buildings (from around 400 Euro per sqm) it makes a compelling reason to consider this area for your next investment.
